What is Functional Nutrition Counseling?
It is looking at your personal life and health history, putting the pieces of the puzzle together to find root cause to emerging diagnosis and symptoms and begin to shift the terrain of how your body is responding to the environment in which it is living. Functional Nutrition Counseling is using nutrition, lifestyle and supplementation to clear out anything that is causing your body distress and support your body by eliminating any deficiencies.
The process is done by making small step-by-step changes and tracking to see how the body responds. It is a journey requiring time, but your body didn’t get to this state in a day or a week so the journey back can take time, but it is possible.
Functional Nutrition Counseling seeks to see a person from a full body perspective instead of looking at each separate system.
